"Boy" is a documentary about the Chinese singer Liang Bo that combines animation and music. It is also one of the pilot films screened in the third season of "The Next Big Thing." The film mainly introduces the daily lives of musicians through a documentary style, giving this season of "The Next Big Thing" both a profound atmosphere and a sense of reality show.
I was responsible for designing and creating animation and motion graphics for the documentary. I worked with Director ZUXIN HOU and Art Director SICONG TIAN. My proficiency in traditional painting and animation made me one of the artists on the team with the ability to create unique handcrafted animations, meeting the director's high expectations.
